Join Mr. Robin and Mikey on the latest episode of Mr. Robin's Hood Podcast's occasional series "Listen Locally" as they dive into the world of local live music with special guest, Beaux Jenkins. Hailing from Harrison, Arkansas, Beaux shares his unique experiences and insights as a red dirt country singer-songwriter. Welcome to Episode 17 of Mr. Robin’s Hood Podcast. This is the latest installment of our occasional series “Listen Locally”—in this episode we were fortunate enough to score an interview with Beaux Jenkins of Beaux Jenkins & the 357s. They’re a Red Dirt Band out of NW Arkansas that will perform in Woodward on September 7th for another gig at The Patriot Pub (aka, The Pat). Beaux talks about his path to becoming a full-time, gigging musician. Making Beaux unique is that he is country music royalty. His great uncle was country legend Conway Twitty, whom Beaux met for the first time at Conway’s last show in Branson before passing away.

But that's not even the best part of this episode. For the first time, Mr. Robin’s Hood Podcast goes unfiltered and drops an inside joke on poor Mikey who can't stop laughing and ends up calling him a not-so-nice name (let's just say Mr. Robin had it coming). So not only will you learn something about Beaux Jenkins, but you'll also get a glimpse into the madness that is our podcast. Just don't expect us to reveal the inside joke unless you're willing to bribe us with sacks o’ cash - we have expensive tastes, people.

In lively Episode 10 of Mr. Robin's Hood Podcast, we delve into the compelling journey of Mr. Robin as a licensed private investigator in not one, but TWO states (confusion and denial?). Get ready for all the juicy details and plot twists of his shady profession (as his nosy neighbor from Virginia used to call it). You'll hear riveting narratives peppered with humor and random Snoop Dogg sing-alongs and learn more about the stealthy art of pretext.
Plus, Mr. Robin will generously share some sneaky tips for those who want to play detective without hiring a real PI or bothering to get a license. Disclaimer: we are NOT LIABLE if you end up behind bars for stalking your crush but trust us; this episode will be a hella ride through getting paid for being nosy.

Okay, it’s May 1st… and here we present Episode 9 of Mr. Robin’s Hood Podcast with your hosts, Mr. Robin (Robin Hohweiler) and Mikey-on-the-Mic (Mikel Mauree Robinson). Epi 9 is titled, “Rise of the Beer Nerd” featuring former Woodward resident and present-day brewer (among a lot of other stuff), Steve Goetzinger (pictured). Steve discusses the pitfalls and rewards of brewing beer on a commercial scale.
Steve is a lawyer (insert obligatory lawyer joke here), a brewmaster (owner and operator of the renowned MadHopper Brewing Co. on Britton Road in OKC), a lover of all things boozy (he’s a partner in Woodworks Distillery Co., again on Britton Road – seeing a pattern?), and he even has a full-sized concert harp in his living room! But wait, there's more. He's also a BBQ fiend, an artist, and a former lord high mayor and current city council member of the city of Nichols Hills. We couldn't make this stuff up if we tried. Trust us, this episode is going to be one for the books as we dive into Steve's wild world of brewing beer and shakin' things up along The Britton Road District of OKC.
